Matthias Nimmich is a re results-driven CFO and financial leader with over 15 years of experience driving business growth through strategic financial planning, M&A, and treasury management, with a strong focus on renewable energy and sustainability.

Outlook

In the coming years, Soventix GmbH will concentrate on the development and realisation of high-quality utility-scale photovoltaic projects, with a focus on sustainable energy supply and increasing efficiency. Our focus in all our target markets are on utility scale solar plants which, due to their size and character, will make a lasting contribution to the energy transition. By optimising processes and working closely with partners and investors, the company aims to further improve quality and open up new markets. At the same time, the company will continue to expand its expertise in project development and realisation in order to ensure long-term success and stable growth opportunities.

Vita

Thorsten Preugschas has been working in the solar industry for over 27 years. After holding leading positions at COLEXON Energy AG, which he led to the top of the listed solar project developers, he took over the management of Soventix GmbH in 2011. Since the complete takeover of the company as part of a management buy-out in 2019,he has successfully developed Soventix into an internationally operating solar project developer.

As CEO, Thorsten is responsible for the corporate strategy, global business development and project management of the Soventix Group. Thanks to his expertise in market analysis,his ability to build strategic partnerships and his entrepreneurial vision, he has successfully led Soventix into new markets in Europe, Africa, North and South America.

Under his leadership,customized expansion strategies were developed, taking into account both local market requirements and global trends. He played a key role in the development of emerging markets and drove the realization of major international projects.These successes have established Soventix as one of the leading providers of innovative and sustainable solar projects on the global market.

Tobias Friedrich has been Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Soventix GmbH since February 2023 and, in addition to expanding the EPC market in Central Europe,is responsible for the development of the organisation, sales and investor communication of the globally active Soventix Group. Tobias has been working in the energy sector since the 1990s. Initially working for energy suppliers, he switched to the good side in the early 2000s and has been active in the photovoltaic sector ever since. With his extensive expertise in the field of renewable energies and his strategic leadership skills, he has made a significant contribution to the company's sustainable growth.

Prior to his appointment as COO in 2023, Tobias was Managing Director at the Soventix Group from 2011 to 2015, where he shaped the strategic direction of the company for several years and helped build up the South African business.

From 2015 to 2023, Tobias was an authorized signatory at the internationally active Goldbeck Solar GmbH and managed the Dutch company for over eight years, with which he successfully developed and implemented large-scale projects of over one GWp. His extensive knowledge of project development and realization as well as his profound understanding of the solar industry have led to his extensive industry network.

Okechi Ugoji is an experienced and results-driven Operations Manager, with a proven track record of success in leading and managing operations, projects, and maintenance functions. His expertise lies in developing and implementing operational plans and budgets that align with organizational goals and objectives. With excellent communication, leadership,and problem-solving skills, he holds a Master's degree from Columbia University in New York and have worked in multiple countries, including Nigeria, Angola,Spain, Ghana, South Africa, and the United States.

Okechi is currently focusing on developing new generation assets, specifically in the renewable energy space. He ensures that these assets are brought into profitable operation in line with corporate standards and international health and safety regulations. He also focuses on rolling out strategic plans and effective risk management for both existing plants and new projects while reflecting global best practices and reducing emissions.

Hassan Wehbe has been Managing Director of Soventix Energy Zambia since 2024 and is responsible for the regions of Zambia and the Democratic Republic of Congo. In his role, he is responsible for representing the local office, business development, project management and advisory activities.

His responsibilities include ensuring a strong local presence, establishing and maintaining business relationships and tapping into new market potential. He also manages and coordinates projects from planning to successful realisation and provides specialist advice in strategically relevant areas.

Before joining Soventix, Hassan Wehbe worked in an advisory capacity as Country Representative - Zambia at AHK Southern Africa, where he was responsible for supporting and promoting German-Zambian bilateral economic relations. Prior to this, he worked as a main consultant at Calimo Technologies Ltd, where he gained extensive experience in consulting and project management.
